Finding the right home for someone you love is one of the hardest decisions a family ever makes. You want somewhere safe, seen, and genuinely cared for — not processed through a system.
Laurel Ridge Senior Living was built for exactly that. We are a private-pay, family-owned care home in Bellingham serving just six residents, with four private rooms and a dedicated room for couples who want to stay together. Every meal is cooked from scratch in our kitchen, sourced when possible from the Bellingham Farmers Market. Care is delivered by an experienced owner-operator with more than a decade of hands-on healthcare experience, in partnership with a Registered Nurse.
Our mission is simple: to provide compassionate, dignified care in a real home — the kind of place where aging is met with comfort, purpose, and connection.
What Makes Laurel Ridge Different
Scratch made meals
Every meal, from scratch. No pre-packaged meals, no institutional trays. Our owner and staff cook fresh meals daily using a four-week rotating seasonal menu, with ingredients sourced from the Bellingham Farmers Market whenever the season allows.
Small by design
Just six residents. Four private rooms and one room designed for couples. Small enough that we truly know every resident — their preferences, their stories, their routines.
Experienced hands
More than a decade of care. Owner Sabrina brings over 10 years of professional caregiving experience across skilled nursing, assisted living, in-home care, and hospice, paired with a Kinesiology degree from Western Washington University.
A room for couples
Couples can stay together. Many care homes separate couples when one spouse needs more support. Our dedicated couples' room means you don't have to choose between care and the person you've spent your life with.
Private-Pay Pricing
Rooms at Laurel Ridge start at $8,000 per month, with total pricing based on individual care needs. À la carte add-ons are available for residents requiring additional support. We'll walk you through everything during your tour.
